FarmboxRx was born from Founder and CEO Ashley Tyrner’s lived experiences as a single, Latina mother on food stamps living in a rural food desert.
As a female minority-owned diverse organization, FarmboxRx authentically represents the richness in experiences of the populations that we serve, bringing a unique perspective to the industry.
Since 2014, we have shipped millions of pounds of fresh produce, healthy grocery items, and medically tailored meals to members of managed care organizations nationwide.
FarmboxRx exists to improve health outcomes and address the root causes of health disparities among the populations we serve. We engage historically overlooked and underserved populations in their own health journeys through nutritious foods and accessible education.
